Report, block and filter
Report sends something to MORR staff, who read every report within 24 hours. Block stops a person reaching you, and they are never told. Both sit beside everything another person wrote to you, and Settings → Safety holds the filter, your muted words and everyone you blocked.

Where Report and Block are
| Where | Report | Block |
|---|---|---|
| Inbox comments | Beside every comment | Beside every comment: that handle, on every platform |
| A brand’s message in Jobs | Under the message and every reply | Block this brand: it can no longer write to you, on any thread or program |
| A creator’s message, for a brand | Under each of their messages | Block in the thread: they can no longer write to your brand |
| A public bio page | Report at the foot of the page. No account needed | Not needed: nothing on a page reaches you |
| A public press kit | Report in the kit’s footer. No account needed | Not needed |
What happens to a report
- 1You pick a reasonSpam or a scam, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence, self-harm, or something else with a few words. Report the same thing twice in a day and it is still one report.
- 2A person reads it within 24 hoursEvery staff account hears about it the moment it is filed, in MORR and by email.
- 3Staff act on itContent that breaks the rules comes down and its owner is told why. An account that keeps breaking them can no longer sign in. The person reported is never told who reported them.
The filter and muted words
Filter offensive comments is on unless you switch it off. A comment with a slur, harassment, sexual spam or a scam link folds behind Hidden: may be offensive or Hidden: may be spam in the Inbox, with Show beside it. Nothing is deleted. Muted words are yours on top: type a word or a phrase and any comment containing it folds away too, whatever the filter says. Both are yours alone, in every workspace, on the web and the phone.
Undoing a block
Blocked lists everyone you blocked, of every kind, newest first. Unblock puts things back: a commenter’s comments return to the Inbox, a brand or a creator can write again. A block made in a workspace’s Inbox covers that workspace, so a teammate sees the same list and an editor can lift it.
