Ideas and scripts

Scripts

A script is what you say on camera. Write it in the Scripts tab, and it is on your phone's prompter the moment you stop typing. A transcript saved from the video editor lands here too, so what you actually said can be cut into captions and posts. On the phone, Prompter in MORR Cam is the camera full screen with the words over it. Write script or Edit script opens the editor as a sheet over the live camera, and the flip button beside it switches front and back before the take.

Writing one

Short lines read better on camera, so write it the way you would say it. The foot of the editor keeps the word count and how long it runs read aloud, at a comfortable pace. It saves as you type; the label beside the title says when it last did.

ButtonWhat it does
Read on cameraFull screen, scrolling at your pace. The same script is on the teleprompter on your phone.
Shoot dayOnto a booked shoot's list, or a new one, so the script reaches a day somebody is holding a camera.
DownloadA plain text file, for any teleprompter app you already own.
From a dayIn the sidebar. Pick a shoot day, tick the rows with words on them, and each becomes its own script. The row on the day points at it, so the two never drift into copies.

Rewriting one

Over the editor are four tweaks, on any script, whoever wrote it: Shorter, Punchier, More me and Different hook. Each rewrites the whole script in your voice and puts it in the editor; Undo the rewrite puts yours back. On the phone the same four sit under the script in the prompter's editor.

A script MORR just wrote, from an idea, a hook, a brief, a pipeline card or a post you are mirroring, opens with one line on why this works for you and the other takes it wrote, each one tap from swapping in. They stay until you pick one or rewrite, since they are only useful while you are deciding.
