Pipeline

Campaigns

On the web

A campaign groups the pipeline cards for one brand campaign or launch: a name, a color, dates and what it is for. Choose it and the board shows only its cards, with how far along they are. A card is in one campaign at most.

Make one

  1. 1Open Campaigns from the Tools menu at the top of the pipelineIt sits beside Series, Statuses, Rules and Storage.
  2. 2Choose New campaignGive it a name, pick a color, and add a start, an end and a line about what it is. Only the name is needed.
  3. 3Put cards in itOpen a card and choose the campaign on its Campaign line. On a campaign's own board, New card and the + on a column put the new card straight in it.

From an open card, New campaign on the Campaign line makes one by name and puts the card in it at once, for the moment you realize three cards are one launch.

Nest inside, when making or editing a campaign, puts it inside another one as a subfolder, for the pieces of a launch, like a teaser and a full cut. The Folders view shows every campaign this way, top-level campaigns with their subfolders inside them; a campaign can go one level deep.

A campaign's board

Choose it in the Campaign filter above the board, or Open board in the Campaigns panel. The strip across the top says when it runs, what it is, and how many of its cards are finished, with every checklist on them added up. Board and Table both keep it chosen; Every card puts everything back. The address carries it, so the link can be shared with the team.

ToDo this
Rename, change the dates or the descriptionThe pencil on its row, or Edit on its board.
RecolorClick its dot.
Put it awayThe box icon archives it. Its cards keep it; it leaves the pickers. Archived at the foot of the panel has Restore.
DeleteThe trash icon. Its cards stay on the board, in no campaign; the confirm says how many before anything happens. Undo, or the Trash for 30 days, puts the campaign back with its cards on it.

Client or team

A campaign is Client by default: the work for a client or a launch, shown like any other campaign on a share link and the intake catalog. Marking one Team instead makes it ops for the agency itself, SOPs, internal tasks, and its cards never reach a client: the database itself refuses to send a team card out through a share, whatever the share is scoped by, so the line holds even if somebody scopes a link by status or tag rather than by naming the card.

For a brand program

If a brand accepted you on a program in Jobs, Brand program in the campaign's form says the campaign is the work for it, and its board links to the program. It is optional: plenty of campaigns are your own launches. If your programs can't be read, the form says so with Try again and keeps the link a campaign already has.
