Outliers and hooks

Outliers and hooks in the Research sidebar ranks every post this workspace has on file by its multiple: views over the median of that account’s own posts. A view count says who is big; a multiple says what worked, and it holds across a creator with a million followers and one with four hundred. Hooks is the same list narrowed to posts that have been broken down, grouped by the kind of opening, with the exact line.

Their medianThe median views of that account’s posts on file, and how many posts that is
OpeningThe exact opening line and its kind, once the post has been broken down

An account needs three posts with views before its posts can be ranked, and ads are left out because their views are not published. Hooks groups broken-down posts by the kind of opening (curiosity gap, bold claim, question, pain point, contrarian, story open, list promise, demonstration), best multiple first; a line opens its post, where Make it mine writes your version in your voice. Break down an outlier and its line joins the shelf.

Write hooks like these

At the top of the Hooks shelf, say what your post is about and press Write ten. The strongest twenty-four lines on the shelf are read for their device rather than their words, and ten openings come back for your topic, each naming the template it follows (“I tried [thing] for [time] and [surprising result]”), the line it came from, whose it was, and how far that line beat its account. Copy takes a line; Write the script writes a whole script that opens on it and files it in Scripts. One AI credit a run.
