Pipeline
Templates
On the web
A template makes a whole card in one click, not just a title: a starting priority, an estimate, a checklist and one or more named deadlines, for the pieces you make the same way every time.

- 1Open New from templateAt the top right of any Pipeline view.
- 2Pick one and press UseThe card is made at once, with the template's checklist as tasks and its priority and estimate already set, and opens.
- 3No templates yet? Make one.Name it, pick a starting priority, and type its checklist one task per line. Deadline offsets and the other starting fields (price, pay, a cap on revisions) are set afterward, on a card made from it, the same way any card's fields are edited.
A named deadline offset ("Script due", some days before publish) becomes a task on every card made from the template once that card gets a publish date, dated back from it automatically. The workspace's own deadline offsets, in Statuses and approvals, do the same for every card, template or not.
