On the web
Trending in the Research sidebar is TikTok’s own list of what is moving: the sounds, hashtags and creators its Creative Center ranks for a region over the last seven days. MORR reads the list once a night and keeps every night, so the column that says Up 12 or New is two nights compared, not a model’s opinion. Nothing is scraped when you open it and nothing is charged to your allowance.

| Column | What it says |
|---|---|
| # | Where TikTok ranks it tonight, in the region chosen at the top |
| Sound / Hashtag / Creator | The tab at the top picks which list. A sound shows its artist; a hashtag its industry; a creator their handle |
| Since last night | Up 12, Down 3, Same, or New when it was not on the list the night before. A dash on the first night, when there is nothing to compare |
| Videos using it | For a sound, how many videos have been made with it; for a hashtag, how many posts; for a creator, their followers |
| Views | The list’s own view count, where TikTok publishes one |
| Use it | Opens the sound on TikTok, where the camera picks it up. A hashtag or creator opens on TikTok the same way |
