Folders
Folders keep a shoot, a client or a campaign together. The row of folders over the grid shows everything, what is in no folder, and each folder with its cover and how many items are in it.

Folders go one level deep: a folder can sit inside another, and no deeper, which is as far as sorting a week of shoots ever needs. A folder's count is the items directly in it; a folder that holds folders says how many it holds too. Without a cover you chose, its picture is its newest item.
Folders belong to the workspace, like everything in it: everybody in the workspace sees the same ones, on the web and on the phone, and a move made on one shows on the other without a refresh. The trash is not filed.
