The command bar

On the web

Press ⌘K on any screen (Ctrl K on Windows) and type. Every screen, workspace, channel, post, pipeline card, idea, script, creator, canvas, layout and shoot is a few letters away, and so is almost anything you would click a button to do.

⌘KOpen it, from anywhere. Press again to close
↑↓Move through the results
↵Open or run the highlighted row. Its verb is printed at the end of the row
⌘↵The row's second action, printed in the footer: open in a new tab, open the profile, start a post from an idea
⇥Show every result under the highlighted row's heading
?Every shortcut, on one sheet
EscClear what you typed; press again to close

Type a time and the first row is a post at that time.

What it finds

TypeAnd you get
A screen, or what people call itqueue finds Calendar, link in bio finds BioLink, billing finds Plan and usage, media kit finds Press kit. Sections inside a screen are listed too: Outliers, Scripts, Integrations, Members, and pages with no row in the sidebar, like Press kit
A workspaceswitch to acme switches. Crossing between a creator and a brand workspace lands on that workspace's first screen
Words from a post, card or idea, or a script's titleThe thing itself, opened where it lives: a post in the composer, a card on the board, an idea highlighted in Ideas, a script open in its editor
A creator's name or @handleEveryone you research first, then everyone MORR knows, then their Research page
A file's nameYour library. Enter starts a post with it; ⌘ Enter opens the file
A handle or a nameLook up on Instagram or TikTok opens their profile in Research, numbers and best posts first
Anything elseLook up has MORR research it (who posts about it, what their posts do), and Ask MORR sends your words as a question. Both start at once

Your own things answer the moment you type, because the bar reads them in the background while you work. The searches that ask the database (every creator MORR knows, every idea you have ever captured, your library) arrive a beat later under their own headings, below what is already there, without moving the row you are on. Letters in order find a thing too: cnp is Create new post. The matched letters are drawn in bold.

What it does

TypeWhat happens
tomorrow 9am, friday 3pm, in 2 hours, sep 30 10amThe first row schedules a post for that moment, spelled out (“Tomorrow at 9:00 AM”) so you can check it. Enter opens the composer with the time set
schedule launch teaser friday 3pmThe same, with “launch teaser” already written as the caption
p, s, c, l, b or w, then EnterCreate new post, Book a shoot day, Connect a channel, New layout, New BioLink, New workspace
hooksToday's hooks, on Home
share reportAnalytics, with the Share report dialog open
inviteMembers, where an invite goes out by email
themeLight or dark, on this browser. ⌘ Enter goes back to matching the system
copy linkThis page's address, on the clipboard, for somebody in the same workspace

When the box is empty

The bar opens on what you opened from it lately, then the six Create actions, a few things to do, the screens in the sidebar and, if you have more than one, your workspaces. Jobs, while it is switched off, is not listed, but typing “jobs” still finds it, marked Off; opening it offers Turn on Jobs. Recent is kept on this browser only; it is a shortcut, and losing it (a private window, cleared site data) loses nothing else.

From the Create button

Create opens the same bar narrowed to its six actions. There the bare letters run their action at once, with no Enter: P is a new post. Backspace on the empty box widens it to everything. The sidebar's Search or jump to opens the whole bar.
