Brands and jobs
Jobs
Jobs is where brand work lives on your side. Open programs you can apply to, your applications and their vouch links, the posts you owe with what they pay and when it lands, and messages from brands. It is off until you want it: Settings → Brand work → Show Jobs puts the row in the sidebar. Off, it is still found by typing “jobs” in the command bar, marked Off, and opening it offers Turn on Jobs in place. Turning it on only shows you open programs; brands cannot find you until you also switch on Open to brand work. The phone holds Jobs back for now: its Settings → Brand work has the Open to brand work switch, your press kit and a link to the web, and everything else about brand work, Show Jobs included, lives on the web.

Above the programs on Open, Your press kit is the page a brand reads next to your application. It says whether you have one yet, whether it is published and how often it has been opened, with Make one, Open press kit or Copy link. See Your press kit.
Getting set up
Three things stand between you and a paid program. Jobs shows the ones still open at the top, each with the button that does it, and the card is gone once all three are done. Each is done once.
| Step | What it is for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Open to brand work | Lets brands find you and read the numbers behind your posts. Nothing reaches anyone until this is on, and it never costs a cut of your pay. | Settings → Brand work |
| A payout account | Where approved work is paid. Stripe holds the details; MORR never sees your bank. Two minutes, once. | Settings → Payouts on the web, or the card on Jobs |
| Your numbers on file | The brand judges you on your last thirty posts, read by MORR. Pull them once from Analytics and the card, the rate check and every application carry them. | Analytics → Pull my posts |
Applying
- 1Open the programThe brief, the rights, the disclosure line that will be on the post, and what it pays. Read the rights; they do not change after you apply.
- 2See what the brand seesYour typical views, best post and hit rate, as of now. That snapshot goes with the application. No posts on file yet? Pull your own from Analytics first, or the brand judges you blind.
- 3Attach your press kitAttach my press kit is on when your kit is published: its address goes at the end of your note, so the brand opens your one-sheet beside the numbers. No kit yet, or not published? One line says so, with Make one or Publish it. See Your press kit.
- 4Answer the questions and press ApplyA pitch is optional.
- 5Send your vouch linkThis is the part that wins these. Anyone who knows your work can write a line about you at that link, no account needed. Each one is counted on your application and the brand reads them.
The posts you owe
Accepting you puts a draft on your calendar with the brief and the disclosure line already in the caption. Make the post the way you make any post. When it is scheduled, Hand it in from Jobs; the brand reads it there.
| State | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| On the calendar | Yours to make. It is a normal draft; the composer opens it like any other. |
| Waiting on the brand | Handed in. Nothing to do until they answer. |
| Changes asked | Their note is on the card. Edit the post and hand it in again. |
| Approved | Owed to you. It pays at the next run, usually the same day. |
| Published | Live. MORR reads it on days 1, 2, 3, 7, 14 and 30 for the brand. |
| Paid | Landed in your payout account |
Getting paid
| It says | Which means |
|---|---|
| Due, paying at the next run | Approved and queued. Payouts run every hour. |
| Paid | Sent to your payout account. Stripe's timing to your bank from there. |
| Connect a payout account in Settings to receive this | The money is held for you. Connect the account and the next run sends it. |
| Failed, MORR is on it | The transfer bounced. It retries on its own; nothing is lost and nobody has to be chased. |
A share of ad spend or sales accrues weekly on top of the floor, for as long as the brand runs or sells on your post. It shows as its own line under Paid to you with what it was a share of.
Messages
A brand that found you in Find can write to you here, with their name and mark on the thread. Reply, or Decline, which closes the thread on their side. Block this brand means that workspace cannot write to you again, on any thread or program. Both are yours; a brand cannot undo either. Report under any of their messages sends it to MORR staff, who answer within 24 hours. See Report, block and filter.
