Daily hooks
Daily hooks are opening lines waiting every morning, at the time you pick, built on real hooks: the creators you are inspired by and the exact posts you pick. MORR listens to their videos, keeps the openings that beat their usual, and rewrites each one for you. Every hook shows the post it came from, word for word, with how it opened and what it did. They wait on Home, on the web and on the phone.

Ideas → Hooks on the web, and Built on at the top of Your hooks on the phone, keep the three things your hooks come from in one place: Overview, Describe it and Show examples. Change any of them and Rewrite today's offers today's set again from the new picks, unless you already used or saved one of today's, which stay.
| What MORR does with a video | What it keeps |
|---|---|
| Talking | The first real sentence said to camera, from the video's own subtitles or a transcript of its first fifteen seconds |
| Text on screen | The words laid over the opening frames, read off the video itself. A caller who only says who they are under a question on screen opens as text: the question is the hook |
| Visual | No words at all: one line on what the camera shows in the first second, which becomes Film this first for you |
| Talking + text | Both, when the words on screen are not just captions of the speech |
Where the lines come from
Strongest proof first. Every multiple is a post's views over the median of its own account's posts, so a small account's breakout counts the same as a big one's.
| Source | What it is | Under the hook |
|---|---|---|
| Posts you picked | The exact videos you chose as examples. They lead the list, up to half of each day | Built on @handle, the original line word for word, its format, and its views against their usual, with Watch the original |
| Creators you study | Their openings that beat their usual, biggest multiple first, taking turns so one creator never fills the morning. Studied again each week | The same Built on card, and the move it makes, like Contrarian claim |
| Your own posts | The opening of one of your published posts from the last year that beat your usual on that channel by 1.5× or more. Your audience already stopped for it once, so it is offered to film again with a new take | Your Instagram post, Sep 3 and 31× your average, with the post a click away |
| Your research | The openings of posts in your research that beat their account's usual views, best first | Whose it was, like @deskside.maya, and 4.1× their average |
| Your niche | The openings of top posts from creators in your topics, from the creator directory | The account and its multiple |
| The pattern library | Proven shapes of opening (a question, a contrarian take, a list, a story), filled in with your topic. Last resort, and labeled that way | Pattern library, and a reason that says what backs that shape for you: a post of yours it is built like, your research, what you used before, or plainly that nothing does yet |
A hook built on a creator's post is theirs rewritten in your voice, keeping its shape: a number stays a number, a question stays a question, and Stop or POV still opens it. It is labeled for what it is: Say this, Put this on screen (with the shot under it) or Film this first, and a close second version shows as Or. When you study nobody yet, or the day needs more, every set is a mix: your own posts first, then research, the library and the niche in turn, and five hooks are five different kinds of opening rather than five questions. A line you were given in the last thirty days never comes back, even at ten a day. None of this needs AI. When AI is available, library lines are also reworded in your brand's voice and your tone; lines from real posts are never reworded, because the multiple under them is only true of the exact words.

settings-daily-hooks.png
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Topics | Up to eight. Each day's library lines take turns across them, starting from a different one each morning, so no topic goes quiet |
| Written as | Spoken opener (a full sentence, up to 24 words), On-screen text (twelve words at most, no full stop), Carousel slide (a headline, numbers as digits) or YouTube title (Title Case, under 80 characters). Every source is shaped to fit, and a line that cannot be is left out rather than cut mid-thought |
| Tone | Direct, Warm, Playful or Expert. The library leads with lines written in that tone and leaves the others out. Any keeps them all |
| Styles | The eight kinds of opening, as one row of buttons. A tap cycles each one: normal, lean into (a dot; sent more often), never (struck through; it never arrives, from any source), and back. Two always stay on, so every morning can fill, and the row says so if you try a seventh |
| Never use | Words or phrases no hook will contain, in any case or form. Your brand's Never say list counts too. A topic that is itself a never-use word is skipped |
The count and the time are in the same place, with Built on, which opens the creators, posts and description. Both clients edit the same settings: Settings → Daily hooks on the web, and on the phone Settings → Daily hooks, or Settings at the top of Your hooks.
What you can do with one
Two buttons are always in reach, Copy and Used it, and ⋯ holds the rest, in the same order on the web and the phone.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Copy | The line, to paste anywhere |
| Used it | Keeps the hook as an idea in Ideas, with why it works and where it came from, and marks it used. It is the only thing that marks a hook used, so the mark always means an idea exists. Pressed again, it opens the idea |
| ⋯ → Script it | Opens a new script in Ideas → Scripts that starts on the hook, ready for the rest. The phone saves it to your scripts and offers Film it |
| ⋯ → Add to pipeline | A card at the foot of the first column, with the hook as its title and why it works as the brief. The line under the hook then links to the card. Web only |
| ⋯ → Save | Keeps it under Saved, so the one you liked on Tuesday is easy to find: Ideas → Hooks on the web, Your hooks on the phone. A saved hook says Saved under it |
| ⋯ → Not for me | It leaves the list, and Undo on the line that follows brings it back |
The last thirty days
Home shows up to five; See all opens the rest. The last thirty days are kept, newest first, with All and Saved: on the web under Ideas → Hooks, and on the phone in Your hooks, from the card's header on Home or the row under Ideas.
