Studio

The list

On the web

The grid shows what the profile will look like; the list shows what is in flight and what to do about it. Every planned tile, draft, queued post, published post and failure for the channel, one row each. Switch to it with List at the top left of Studio.

Planned tiles, drafts, queued and published posts in one table. The shelves count what each would show.

With a layout open, the same strip the grid shows sits above the table: which layout this is, Import into the feed and Back to the feed.

ColumnTells you
CaptionWhat it says. Click it, or press E, and type. It saves when you click away or press ⌘↵
StatusPlanned, Idea or Hidden for a tile still on the layout; Draft, Scheduled, Remind me, Publishing, Published or Failed for a post. A failure says why under the pill
ChannelThe platform's mark and the account it goes to. You post it is a reminder
FormatPhoto, video, carousel, reel, story, note or text
DateWhen it goes out or went out, and how far away that is. A tile with no date yet shows when its media was added

Click a column's name to sort by it; click again to reverse it, and a third time for feed order, which is the order the grid draws. The shelves across the top (All, Planned, Drafts, Scheduled, Published, Failed) each carry a count of what they would show with the other filters on. Search matches every word you type, in any order.

Changing many at once

Tick the rows, or press X on each. The bar along the bottom offers what applies to them, and says what it skipped and why rather than failing quietly.

ActionWhat it doesSkips
RescheduleMoves the posts to a new day and time. With Keep their spacing on, the first one moves to that time and the rest keep their distance from it, so a week planned a day apart is still a day apartPlans with no time yet, and anything already out
QueueSends drafts back to the queue at their timeAnything with no channel, a time that has passed, or no picture for a platform that needs one. Open those to finish them
To draftsTakes posts out of the queue. Nothing goes out until they are queued againAnything already out
Hide / ShowThe grid's Hide, for planned tiles: they keep their slotsPosts
DeleteDeletes posts and takes tiles off the layout, after askingAnything already out

Reschedule, Queue and To drafts can be undone from the toast that reports them. Tiles taken off the layout come back with Undo or ⌘Z; a deleted post does not, which is why it asks first.

Whose posts

The list opens on the channel you are planning, like the grid. Every channel widens it to every post in the workspace, which is when the platform filter earns its place. Planned tiles always come from the layout on screen; blank slots are not listed, because they are spacing on the grid rather than posts.
