Pipeline
Brainstorms
On the web
A brainstorm is one named session for a campaign or a series: the team types ideas as fast as they come, votes, sorts them by pillar, keeps the good ones and kills the rest. Make cards turns every kept idea into a card on the pipeline, linked back to the session it came from.

Run one
- 1Open Brainstorms and choose New brainstormIt is the third tab of the pipeline. Name it, add the question it answers, and pick the series or campaign it is for, if any.
- 2Type an idea and press EnterThe box stays open for the next one. End a line with #pillar to file it under a pillar. Paste a list and every line becomes its own idea.Enter
- 3VoteEveryone in the workspace can vote, viewers included, so a client asked in to pick favorites can. Most votes puts the favorites on top.
- 4Keep and killKeep the ones worth making. Killed ideas sink to the bottom, crossed out, so nobody pitches them twice.
- 5Make cardsEvery kept idea that is not a card yet goes to the first column of the pipeline, most votes first, with its pillar as a tag and the session's series and campaign. Pressing it again makes nothing twice.

Clustered by pillar
Cluster by pillar groups the ideas under their pillars, the biggest cluster first, so a meeting sees at a glance that it has eight tutorials and no behind the scenes. A pillar is any word you choose: education, bts, launch.
Make another like this
A post that did well is the best start for the next idea. Make another like this on a published card, or under the best post on Analytics, starts a session with that post pinned at the top and the question “What else could we make that works for the same reason?”. That is the loop: brainstorm, cards, published, what worked, brainstorm.
