Across workspaces

On the web

Across workspaces answers the morning’s four questions for every workspace at once: what broke, what is waiting on a sign-off, what is due this week and what went out. It is for running several clients without switching to each of them to find out. Click anything and it opens in its own workspace.

The loudest workspace first. A workspace with nothing in any column is folded into one line at the foot.
  1. 1Open it from the top of the sidebarThe square above your workspaces. It is only there when you belong to two or more; with one there is nothing to line up.
  2. 2Or from HomeYour other workspaces lists up to five, the ones you opened most recently first, each in one line with its counts. Past five, the link reads See all N instead of See all side by side and opens this page.
  3. 3Click a rowMORR switches to that workspace and the item opens: a post in the composer, a card on the board, a task on its card.

What each column counts

ColumnCountsWhy it is there
FailedPosts that did not go out, from the last seven days and the week ahead, with the reason the platform gaveThe one thing that is silent everywhere else. It sorts a workspace to the top
Waiting on a sign-offCards whose approval is still open, with how many of their approvers have yet to decide. Action required marks the ones waiting on youSo a client’s approval you owe does not sit in a workspace you have not opened today
Due this weekPosts on the calendar for the next seven days, cards with a due date that are not in a Completed or Closed column, and unticked tasks. Anything up to two weeks late is included and marked lateThe week ahead, across every client, in one list
PublishedWhat went out in the last seven daysThe good news, so a quiet week reads as one rather than as a blank
OrderComes first when
1Something failed
2A sign-off is waiting on you
3Something is late
4Anything is due or waiting
5Only published posts
6Nothing at all. These fold into Quiet this week at the foot

Running enough workspaces that this page scrolls: the search box above the totals narrows every section (and the totals stay everyone's, so narrowing to find one client never makes the top row lie about the rest), and both the loud sections and the Quiet this week row load in batches with a Show more rather than laying out a thousand cards at once.

Each column shows the first six; the count beside the title is the whole number, and more under the list opens that workspace’s calendar or pipeline for the rest.
