Inbox

Inbox is every comment on your last month of posts, grouped under the post it’s on, newest first. Reply, like, hide or mark one done without leaving MORR. It’s Inbox in the sidebar on the web; on the phone it is the tray at the top of Home and a row under More in the tabs, from any tab. It only appears once one of your channels can share its comments.

What each platform allows

MORR reads comments with the permission you gave each platform when you connected it. What that permission covers is the platform’s decision, so the Inbox does what each one allows and says plainly where it stops. A control a channel can’t use isn’t drawn: in its place is Reply on Instagram ↗, which opens the post where you can answer it.

Going through it

  1. 1Pick a filterTo answer is everything nobody has replied to. Questions is the part of that which asks something: a question mark, a “where did you get”, a “link please”. Answered and All are for looking back.1234
  2. 2Move down the listThe selected comment has a bar beside it and its actions showing.JK
  3. 3ReplyThe box opens under the comment. Pick a saved reply, write your own, and send. It goes out on the platform, as you, and the comment moves to Answered.R⌘↵
  4. 4Or mark it doneFor a heart emoji or a comment that needs nothing, Done takes it off the list without answering. Press it again to bring one back.E

Reply on the platform itself and the Inbox notices: on the next check, every comment above your reply in that thread moves to Answered. That is how people answer on Instagram and YouTube, one reply at the bottom of a thread for several people, and it’s why nothing you already dealt with sits there looking ignored.

Saved replies

The answers you give over and over (where the link is, which size fits, when the drop is) kept once and dropped into any reply. Open Saved replies from the reply box or the top of the page. Write {name} for the commenter’s first name and {handle} for their @handle, so “Thanks {name}! It’s the first link in my bio” reads as written to Maya. They’re shared with everyone in the workspace, and the ones used most come first. With the list open, press a number to use one.

How fresh it is

MORR checks every channel for new comments every ten minutes, and again the moment you open the Inbox; Check now asks straight away. A new comment lands at the top of an open Inbox without a refresh. It reads the last month of posts, and the newest fifty threads on each.

Report, block and the filter

On a commentWhat it doesWho knows
ReportSends it to MORR staff with the reason you pick. A person reads every report within 24 hoursNobody but MORR staff. The commenter is never told who reported them
BlockEvery comment from that handle leaves your Inbox, on every platform and on the phone, now and from then onNobody. Nothing is sent to them or to the platform
HideHides it on the platform itself, where the platform allows itThe commenter still sees their own comment; nobody else does

Comments with slurs, harassment, sexual spam or scam links fold behind Hidden: may be offensive or Hidden: may be spam, with Show beside it. Nothing is deleted, so a false match costs one click. Switch the filter off, add your own muted words, or undo a block in Settings, Safety.

Comments into sales

Rules, at the top of the Inbox, answers a comment before you see it. A rule is a keyword (“price”, “link”, “collab”) on one channel or every channel, and one of three things it does when a comment says it: reply publicly with your words and, where you set one, a link (write {link} to place it, or leave the reply blank for “Here you go: {link}”), or capture the commenter as a lead on your BioLink audience, with no reply sent. On the web only.

The run log under the rules shows every match: the keyword, what it did, and why when it couldn’t, a channel without reply access, say. A public reply only sends where the channel already allows replying (the same table above); where it can’t, the log says so instead of pretending it went out.

Working as a team

Comments follow their channel into its workspace, so everyone in the workspace sees the same list. Anyone who can edit there can answer, like, hide or mark done, and a reply sent by a teammate goes out as the channel, the way a reply from the account itself would. The row says You replied from MORR under it. Viewers can read but not answer.
